American Theatre Company was founded in 1970 by Kitty Roberts and University of Tulsa students Richard Ellis, Robert Odle, Richard Averill, and Edward Durnal, since its early days the company has evolved from a student group to become a cornerstone of Tulsa's cultural scene. ATC is a professional, award-winning company dedicated to enriching the community through art and education. From beloved annual performances of A Christmas Carol to innovative original productions, American Theatre Company continues to captivate and inspire audiences, fostering a lasting impact on the arts in Tulsa.
